Dr. Tahir Mehmood Khan
Dr. Tahir Mehmood Khan is a distinguished clinical pharmacist, academician, and research leader. He serves as Associate Professor and Director at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. A graduate of three internationally renowned universities, he brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, research leadership, and academic excellence to the journal.
Brig. (R) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faiqa Chughtai
Brig. (R) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faiqa Chughtai is a distinguished gynecologist and obstetrician with a decorated career spanning military medical service and academic medicine. A Brigadier (Retired) of the Pakistan Army Medical Corps, she brings rare institutional credibility combining frontline clinical experience, specialist postgraduate qualifications, and academic teaching at the associate professorial level. Her dual fellowship — MCPS and FCPS in Gynecology & Obstetrics — reflects the highest standards of specialist training in Pakistan.
Dr. Malik Hassan Mehmood
Dr. Malik Hassan Mehmood is an accomplished academic and clinical pharmacology expert. With extensive teaching, research, and administrative experience, he has previously held key academic positions at Government College University Faisalabad and Aga Khan University, Karachi. His expertise spans pharmacology, clinical research, and pharmacy education, with a strong focus on problem-based learning and laboratory biosafety. Dr. Mehmood also contributes to the global scientific community as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Pharmacology, Smooth Muscle Pharmacology, and PLOS ONE.
Dr. Fayyaz Hussain
Dr. Fayyaz Hussain is a PhD scholar, educator, and institution-builder with decades of experience in inclusive education, human behavior, and doctoral research guidance. He is the Founder and Managing Director of the Literaria Education Foundation for the Blind (LEFB), Lahore — one of Pakistan's leading organizations advancing accessible and equitable education for visually challenged individuals.
Dr. Muhammad Munawar Hayat
Dr. Muhammad Munawar Hayat is one of Pakistan's most senior pharmaceutical regulatory authorities. With 29 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning hospital pharmacy, drug inspection, pharmaceutical quality control, drug testing laboratory management, and regulatory enforcement. He has served as Chief Drugs Controller Punjab and Director Drug Testing Laboratory. His research portfolio includes 26 peer-reviewed publications with a cumulative impact factor of 38+ and 58 citations.
Dr. Hamid Saeed
Dr. Hamid Saeed is a distinguished academic, researcher, and clinical pharmacy expert. He has completed prestigious postdoctoral fellowships at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (Canada) and Stanford University (USA). With over 160 peer-reviewed international publications and an H-index of 34, Dr. Saeed is widely recognized for his contributions to pharmaceutics, stem cell research, nanomedicine, and clinical pharmacy practice.
Dr. Tariq Mahmood Mian
Dr. Tariq Mahmood Mian is a highly experienced family physician and healthcare leader. He has played a pivotal role in advancing primary healthcare in Pakistan. He currently serves on multiple influential bodies, including the Board of Management of the Institute of Public Health, Research Ethics Committees, and national advisory groups such as EPI and the Healthcare Commission Technical Advisory Committee.
Dr. Muzaffar Iqbal
Dr. Muzaffar Iqbal is a distinguished pharmaceutical industry leader with over four decades of experience spanning research, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and executive leadership. He built a remarkable career at GlaxoSmithKline, serving as Technical Director for Pakistan and Executive Board Director of GSK Bangladesh. He later served as Chief Executive of Qarshi Industries.
Prof. Dr. Mehwish Iqtedar
Prof. Dr. Mehwish Iqtedar is a distinguished academic and researcher with over 15 years of experience in biotechnology, microbiology, and nanoscience. With over 103 peer-reviewed international publications, an H-index of 19, and cumulative citations exceeding 1,300, Dr. Iqtedar is widely recognized for her contributions to health biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, industrial microbiology, and drug delivery systems.
Dr. Mubashra Saadia
Dr. Mubashra Saadia is an accomplished biochemist and HEC-approved PhD supervisor with over 13 years of post-doctoral teaching and research experience. A pioneer in the discipline of Medicinal Biochemistry in Pakistan, she established a dedicated research group focused on plant-based compounds for antidiabetic applications. With 31 peer-reviewed publications (cumulative impact factor 45.58), Dr. Saadia has supervised 2 PhD and over 50 MPhil/BS research scholars.
Dr. Kanwal Rehman
Dr. Kanwal Rehman is a highly accomplished pharmacologist and academic leader. With over 150 peer-reviewed international publications, a cumulative impact factor exceeding 550, an H-index of 42, and more than 7,000 citations, Dr. Rehman is among Pakistan's most prolific researchers. She has authored 6 books with international publishers (Springer-Nature and Elsevier) and is recognized among the top 2% of productive scientists in Pakistan.
Muhammad Usman Bhatti
Muhammad Usman Bhatti is an experienced pharmaceutical professional with a strong background in pharmacognosy, academia, and industrial operations. With prior academic experience as Assistant Professor at Akhtar Saeed College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Lecturer at The University of Lahore, he brings a balanced perspective of both industry and education.
